This platform is a free tool that connects hirers with earthmoving companies in a simple and transparent way. Explorers can post Quote Requests, and contractors can see every available opportunity on a single map.
Registration with the platform for Explorers requires self-validation via an email that will be sent to the nominated email address. For those wishing to register as a Contractor, email verification requests will be sent to GoEarthmoving Admin - to be confirmed via phone or email. This is to ensure that only Contractors are able to see all the Quote Requests in the system. We will contact you at the earliest convenience. Contractors cannot see project titles, tenements or any hirer details. They only see the general location, machine type, hire type and whether they have already quoted. This protects confidentiality while still letting contractors plan work efficiently.
Explorers receive quotes through the platform and can review mobilisation costs and availability. The contractor’s identity stays hidden until the hirer chooses to click “Connect Me”. When this happens, both parties receive each other’s contact details so they can talk directly.
The system is designed to reduce mobilisation costs, help contractors fill the gaps between larger jobs and reduce unnecessary travel. It also gives hirers access to more earthmoving companies and makes it easier to post small jobs that would normally be unviable due to high mobilisation fees.
Quote Requests automatically become inactive after two weeks. The hirer will receive an email and can update or reactivate them at any time.
Contractors can see all active Quote Requests on the map. Explorers can only see the requests they have submitted themselves.
